DR Moon Memorial Library Renovation & Addition

Project consists of construction of an approximate 3,500 square foot addition with finished basement and elevator, partial interior renovation of both levels of the approximate 2,000 square foot existing building, new MEP systems, the addition of a new secondary water service and sprinkler system in the basement level, existing window sash replacement, and incidental exterior landscaping. Work which may be included through alternate bid includes: an approximate 550 square foot area incorporating an exterior patio and incidental landscaping; exterior cleaning and restoration; interior finish upgrades, and new casework.

PRE-BID MEETING: A pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site on May 20, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. Central Standard Time. Attendance is mandatory for bidding prime contractors unless a specific exception has been granted by the Architect.

BUILDING EXAMINATION: The building is available for examination during normal business hours with advanced notification of, and coordination with Library staff.

PROJECT START: Due to grant funding project commencement date must start prior to July 1, 2025. 


It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to review the “Addenda” tab during the bidding process for new postings!

The Owner, Architect, General Contractor, Printer, or PlanRoom will not be responsible for bids or sub-bids based on single drawings, specification sheets or observation or use of partial sets of documents. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to review & understand all project requirements prior to submitting a bid!
