Sealed bids for the above project will be received, on behalf of the Owner, by the Owner and/or General Contractor/Construction Manager Market & Johnson at the location noted in the bid documents. All bids must be submitted on the Bid Form supplied and accompanied with Bid Security (if required) in accordance to the Work Categories outlined in the bid documents. Acceptance of bids via facsimile or email is noted in the bid documents. Bids will be opened publicly.

The E.P. Rock Elementary School project consists of exterior improvements, a front office addition, extensive interior and exterior renovations of classrooms, offices and common areas, remodeling of bathrooms, as well as building system upgrades.  Construction is scheduled to start in May of 2024 and will be phased so that it runs continuously until all work is complete in August of 2025.  The work consists of site work with utilities, replacement of asphalt paving, concrete paving, curbs, concrete foundations, masonry walls and patching, structural steel, rough and finish carpentry, new interior frames and doors, new exterior frames and glazing for doors and windows, new roofing and siding, interior finishes, specialties, casework and extensive MEP work.

A pre-bid meeting will be held and determined as the time of bid package issuance.

This notice is being issued to inform potential bidders of the bid dates, work included and general construction plan. Additional information and details will be issued with the plans and specifications in late March. Bidders can bid all three projects (North Hudson Elementary School, Hudson Middle School and E.P. Rock Elementary School) or the projects individually.
