UW Madison Nutritional Sciences HVAC System Renovations

In general, the work consists of: removing two AHUs and associated exhaust fans serving the vivarium and cage wash area. Both units will be replaced with one unit that will have energy recovery coils, steam preheat coil with face and bypass dampers, chilled water cooling coil, and a HEPA final filter bank. Work to include ceiling removal and replacement, construction of an area well to the basement. Existing area well will be removed and larger area well with door and stairs down to the mechanical room will be installed.
