DESCRIPTION: Bids are solicited for a new Public Works Facility for the Village of Elkhart Lake. The 15,091 SF facility will include a new drive-through shop/storage area for Village public works vehicles, for both parking and repair, a vehicle wash bay, office area for Public Works support staff and a mezzanine space for additional Public Works storage.
The Work includes a complete exterior architectural precast wall panel system around the full building exterior. The roof system consists of steel bar joists, metal roof deck, rigid insulation and fully adhered EPDM roofing system. Also included are aluminum storefront entrances, windows and glazed clerestories. Interior partitions at the office area will be gypsum board on metal stud framing and CMU load bearing partitions for shop area storage rooms below an upper-level mezzanine. Finishes to include Solvent based oil, water and stain repellent sealer with penetrating Silane at shop area and vinyl luxury tile and acoustical tile ceilings throughout the office area. Painting work to include all walls throughout the facility and including high performance coatings throughout the shop area. Mechanical systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems and sitework are part of the project.
