PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A non-mandatory pre-bid tour is scheduled for January 7, 2026, 10:00 a.m. Attendees, please meet at MMHI Campus Facilities Services Building. To attend, please contact Clayton Friedland, Management Services Director clayton.friedland@dhs.wisconsin.gov a minimum of 48 hours prior to the tour. It is encouraged that all contractors attend and familiarize themselves with the project. Please contact Amy Hasselman, KONTEXT architects, llc amy@kontextarchitects.com for additional information.
DESCRIPTION: In general, the work consists of: the renovation and hardening of an existing 26 bed unit on the second floor of Stovall Hall. All doors on the unit will be replaced with anti-ligature hardware. Lights in the patient rooms will be replaced with tamper resistant fixtures. Bathrooms will be updated with ligature resistant plumbing fixtures and accessories. Audio surveillance and card access will be added to the unit as well.
