Bid Package BP #1 EARTHWORK, BUILDING RAZING & SITE UTILITIES.

The Project includes the following work: Central Water Treatment Plant modifications and Well 3 Wellhouse. The Work will be substantially complete on or before November 15, 2026, and completed and ready for final payment on or before December 15, 2026. DBE’s including MBE’s and WBE’s are encouraged to submit proposals. Any scope of work applicable on this job will be considered for award/subcontract.

‘E’ & ‘G’ Wing Renovations and Addition Project.

In general, the work consists of renovating approximately 31,500 sq. ft of the eastern half of the first floor of Grainger Hall and constructing an 8,200 sq. ft. addition. Addition consists of structural steel frame supporting a large two -story volume with an outdoor terrace on the roof, a new mechanical room with new air handling equipment, and extending electrical and fire protection systems into the addition. Program consists of a two-story space with monumental stair, lounges, meeting rooms, student-focused offices, and food service spaces including a catering kitchen, coffee house, retail food venue, and a convenience store. Outdoor spaces include a rooftop terrace, a reconfigured south plaza, and streetscape improvements on University Avenue.

Addition and Renovation to Existing Elementary School.

Addition of Tech-Ed space + renovation of existing/adjacent building. (This is a C.D. Smith project).

In general, the work consists of: the replacement of entire HVAC systems in the building and attached corridors. Replacement of steam and condensate piping, replacement of air handling units, fans, ductwork, and controls. New HVAC includes air handling units, variable volume terminals, heating hot water system, chilled water piping, and DDC controls. Work also includes associated general construction work, new toilets, ceiling replacement, windows replacement, roofing replacement, plumbing, fire protection sprinkler system, lighting replacement, and electrical support work.

32-story building of Mass Timber and Concrete.

Complete Renovation: MEP replacement, Fire Alarm, Elevators, Windows, Restrooms, Finishes.

In general, the work consists of: completely renovating Winther Hall including roofing and window replacement. New entrances, vertical circulation towers and restroom towers will be constructed. Heide Hall will receive a new entrance addition along with vertical circulation and restroom tower. The existing roofing and windows of Heide Hall will be replaced. Site work around Winther Hall and Heide Hall will be reworked to accommodate new additions and grades. Parking Lot 14, near Winther Hall, and Parking Lot 13 will be reworked to accommodate new construction.
